"Exhibit" is an application for natural history museums in Bavaria. The application allows you to explore natural history museums with the help of your smartphone.
Features in Bamberg Vogelsaal:
* Five themed tours in Bamberg Vogelsaal
* Indoor navigation with Alert
* Sort and filter options (topics, locations)
* Augmented Reality: 360 degree views of the bird hall
* Numerous media content: (five 3D exhibits, more than 30 videos, numerous audio, images, text)
Theme tours:
With the help of five themed tours, you can explore the Bamberg Vogelsaal from various viewpoints. The most comprehensive guide topics "diversity" conveys primarily biological knowledge. The puzzles leadership is particularly interesting for children.
Indoor Navigation:
The zoomable floorplans show at any theme tour to the content in the appropriate space. These layouts allow you to access the various contents of the app, at the same time they allow you the localization in the museum. Your current position is displayed with activated Bluetooth module in the plan and so facilitates the identification of the individual contents. You can also activate a signal (in the navigation bar at the bottom), which is an available-content triggers within a defined radius (about 2 meters). The position is determined by the IBeacon technology, therefore Bluetooth must be enabled on your smartphone.
Augmented Reality:
360 degree views allow you to discover the Vogelsaal also from home in new perspectives.
General information:
The application and its contents will be charged. Bayerische Sparkassenstiftung and the country's Office for Non museums exhibit the developed app framework of the general public.
